We live in an era where in many places the Spirit seems to be breaking previous schemes apart. There were separate spiritual classes like little worlds, with almost no real communication between them, and society had reached a stage where separate organisms sought their own identity, with their own specialised aims. Now the Spirit is leading men and women back to the essential values to which God in Jesus gave absolute priority: the relationship of love-communion between individuals, between religious families, between religious and diocesan clergy, between the “state of perfection” and what Igino Giordani called “the proletariat of the spirit...”
God is Trinitarian communion, and his intention is none other than to bring created human beings together into that kind of communion.
